About Us: Corrigan-Camden ISD

Corrigan Common School No. 40 was petitioned in June 1889. In 1908, construction of a two-story brick building served as Corrigan Common School, with grade levels including elementary age up to 10th grade. For students to obtain a high school diploma, they had to attend the Diboll school for two years.

In 1938 the school colors were adopted. Blue for true fighting spirit and white for the clean games they played. By 1941, the 2nd Corrigan High School building was constructed and in 1952 a new brick elementary building replaced the frame structure from the early 30’s. In 1968 Camden annexed and the company town was sold. This led to the consolidation of Corrigan Common School and Camden.  In the fall of 1969 the school district opened the doors to the 3rd high school.

Presently, Corrigan-Camden Independent School District is a large 2-A district. Located in Corrigan, Texas just off I-69 North. Our high school campus offers a variety of (CTE) Career and Technology Education courses:

We offer many various sports during the school year: Volleyball, Softball, Basketball, Field and Track, Cross-Country, Baseball, Soccer, and Football. Several of our athletic programs have advanced into the playoffs and even to state. We are very proud of these students.

Corrigan-Camden ISD has a family environment atmosphere with the students, staff, community, parents, and school board members. Our stakeholders/school board members support our students and staff. We are dedicated and committed to student success! In May of 2025, our CCHS graduates received over one million in scholarships! We were thrilled to assist so many of our students as they become high school graduates and move into the next chapter of their life, into a higher education or a trade school.
