Grievances
The Corrigan-Camden ISD Board of Trustees encourages employees, students, parents, and community members to discuss their concerns and complaints through informal conferences with the appropriate administrator. Concerns should be expressed as soon as possible to allow early resolution at the lowest possible administrative level.
If an informal conference regarding a complaint fails to reach a satisfactory outcome, the concerned employee, student, parents, or community member may initiate the formal grievance process by filing a written grievance within the stated timeline. After initiating the formal grievance process, complainants are encouraged to seek an informal resolution of their concerns. The formal complaint may be withdrawn at any time.
For information or clarification about the CCISD Grievance Process, please reference the Board Policies, which are found below:
Policy Code GF - Public Complaints
Policy Code FNG - Student Rights: Student and Parent Complaints
Grievances begin at Level 1 and, if warranted, move through the appeal process at levels 2 and 3. The forms below will need to be completed and filed with the appropriate administrator at each level.

- CCISD Seeks Community Leaders for School Health Advisory Council
Corrigan-Camden ISD is seeking dedicated parents and community members to serve on the mandatory School Health Advisory Council (SHAC). The SHAC plays a vital role in ensuring CCISD’s health and wellness policies reflect local community values.
The Law Requires a Parent Majority: Texas law mandates that the majority of SHAC members must be parents of CCISD students who are not employed by the district. We especially encourage non-employee parents to apply!
What the SHAC Does:
- Reviews and makes recommendations on Health Education curriculum.
- Reviews and advises on the District Wellness Policy (including school lunches and physical activity).
- Recommends strategies for mental health and suicide prevention programs.
- Meets a minimum of four times per school year.
Application Deadline: October 31, 2025
Apply Online Today: SHAC Form
