I graduated from Corrigan-Camden High School in 1992. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2000 and a Master’s in School Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2011.

I began my teaching career at Corrigan- Camden Elementary in 1999. I left to teach at Livingston ISD but quickly returned after 2 years. I have taught 2nd -6th grades, and have been in education for 22 years, 14 years as a classroom teacher and 8 years as a counselor. I am currently serving as the Jr. High Counselor/ 504 Coordinator/ Dyslexia Assessor/ ESL Coordinator.
I am married to my wonderful husband Chris. We have 4 children that we are very proud of, Taylor, Kristen, Kaden, and Bryan. Taylor and Bryan are both graduates from Corrigan-Camden High School and Kristen and Kaden are graduates from Central High School. We have one fur baby. Roscoe is a rambunctious, dapple, long-haired dachshund that we love dearly.
When I am not working, I enjoy vacationing, going to the movies, reading mystery novels, and spending quality time with my family!!
