Please follow the steps below for applying  and selecting your day to attend Substitute Orientation.

A Special Message for CCISD Substitute Teachers

The State of Texas has implemented a fingerprint law known as Senate Bill 9 (SB-9).  As of January 1, 2008, this law requires that all new non-certified district employees be fingerprinted prior to being hired.  In addition, any new employees to CCISD must complete fingerprinting before working with the district.  See the steps below so that you are aware of the process to become eligible to substitute for Corrigan-Camden  ISD during the upcoming school year!

Are you interested in substituting for CCISD?  

Follow these easy steps:

1. Go to www.ccisdtx.com and complete the online application  for a substitute position. 

2. Select a day to attend orientation – You will need to email a picture of your driver’s license and social security card to Diana Locke, HR Director at dlocke@ccisdtx.com.

3. A fastpass will be emailed to you from  IDENTIGO to set your appointment to complete the fingerprinting process. 

4. Accept jobs when our campus staff call and start substituting!

Application Process and Orientation Dates:

August 10, 2021 

August 25, 2021

February 10, 2022

Orientation will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the High School Campus Library.

An additional Application Processing/Orientation cycle may be added later in the year if enough interest is shown.

Professional Assignment Long-Term Substitutes: 

*Long term Substitute- 10 or more days in the same assignment on a consistent basis.
