A MESSAGE FROM THE CHILD NUTRITION DIRECTOR:

Bulldog Parents:

Our kids are our future! The foods they eat now make a big difference in the people they will grow up to be. Our school menus have been transformed to fit the USDA guidelines for the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs. These changes have given more importance to what we were already doing to provide more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and in general, healthier meals. We will keep on making changes to meet the guidelines as they change for the beneift of our students health and nutrition. In these changes, we are working on great ways to get students excited about eating more healthy foods! We cannot do it alone, we need your help to make this a success for our kids! We ask that you encourage your kids to try new foods and flavors at home and at school. Also, we encourage our parents to join your children for breakfast or lunch at their campus to try our menus.  We hope to have your support in helping your children grow up to be strong and healthy people.

Sincerely,

Susan Ard
