C-CISD Closed To Students Monday March 16th to March 20th

CORRIGAN-CAMDEN ISD SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL STUDENTS NEXT MONDAY - FRIDAY (MARCH 16TH - MARCH 20TH) 

THE DISTRICT WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE STATUS OF THE COVID-19 SITUATION AND RELEASE FURTHER INFORMATION AS NECESSARY.

This decision is in response to growing concerns for the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19. In addition to all campuses being closed, all school sponsored team activities (including any and all practices) and events will be cancelled during this time. UIL has suspended all competitions through March 29th. 

We understand the burden school closure places on our parents and community; however, this decision was made out of an abundance of caution to assist public health authorities with efforts to halt the spread of this virus. Please continue to implement general health practices including proper hand washing, staying home if you are ill, not traveling unless it’s necessary, and avoiding large groups of people. 

Corrigan-Camden ISD will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation and keep our parents and employees informed as needed. These are unprecedented times, and this is a very fluid situation.  We will continue to utilize the C-CISD Facebook page, website, email, and mass text messages to communicate with our parents, staff, students, and community.  

The district appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding as we make these decisions in the best interest of our students and staff.
