At the June Board Meeting, Superintendent, Richard Cooper, gave an update on HB3 and how it will affect Corrigan-Camden ISD. According to Mr. Cooper, "Our taxpayers will be getting a break on their property taxes. C-CISD property taxes will go down from $1.18 per $100 valuation to $1.11 per $100 valuation. Our State funding will increase this year and we will be using 30% of our increased funding to provide our district employees with salary increases". C-CISD will have the exact amounts finalized when the budget is adopted in late August.
The Board also approved the recovering of the "Old Elementary" side of the Elementary campus as well as the Elementary Cafeteria.
