High School

Corrigan-Camden Independent School District is located in the small, rural town of Corrigan in East Texas. The positive attitudes exhibited by school staff, community members, and students create a unique learning environment focusing on academic achievement of all students.

Corrigan-Camden is a wonderful place for students to learn. Community support has always been a vital part of providing that learning environment. C-CISD focuses on encouraging the development of students who are not just academically capable, but are also thoughtful and committed to being good citizens in their community, state, and nation.CAMPUS

Success, however, has not been limited to academic assessment. The varsity football team is a regular visitor in the state playoffs highlighted by winning a state championship in 2002. The varsity track team consistently wins state championships. Various groups of students participate in such activities as NASA's summer science program, medical camp at Stephen F. Austin State University, creating care packages for troops, art competition sponsored by the Houston Livestock Show, raising funds for breast cancer research, and robotics competitions. It is not uncommon to find students in the hallways after hours decorating for special events, participating in tutorial activities, and participating in meetings for a variety of school organizations. Corrigan-Camden ISD truly has become a "safe place to be" for all students. It represents not only a learning center in the community, but also a place of safety, comfort, and support.

Relationships are vital to Corrigan-Camden. We operate as a family of learners. Traditions also play a large part in our school and we proudly "Protect the Tradition" of excellence. School has been and always will be a "people" business where true strength comes from the positive relationships that are built and nurtured between those involved in the education process. Corrigan-Camden ISD is very proud of the fact that "people" always come first.
